Juan Manuel Marquez punches Manny Pacquiao in 4th fight - Photo © German Villasenor, Doghouse Boxing
By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. If Manny Pacquiao wants a 5th fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, then it's his bloody right, and unless Marquez wants to be known as an assh*le / coward, he needs to be a real man (which I know he is) and give Pacman his wish. Yeah, after their 4th battle JMM says he has nothing left to prove... but that is total B.S.

First take into consideration that Marquez whined like a baby (and rightfully-so) after not one, not two, but after three fights with Pacquiao. Now let the truth be told, Pacquiao never had to be a man and give JMM a total of four fights... he didn't even have to give him one rematch, let alone four (fights)! But Pacman did... and that is one reason we love Pacquiao. What a true class act and a warrior to give JMM so many opportunities... and now in return Pacquiao wants his opportunity. Now what kind of an assh*le would Marquez be if he wasn't a Gentleman and gave Pacquiao his shot at redemption... after all, did Pacquiao not give him 3 more tries at redemption?

Many will argue successfully that Pacquiao was winning their fourth encounter before he walked into JMM's punch. Another reason to give Pacquiao a rematch.

Look at the end of the day, when all is said and done, if JMM does not give Pacman his unquestionable right to a fifth fight ... then what, you don't think he will go down in Boxing history as a Coward (in the sense that he'd be trying to protect his legacy in a shameful way) or the very least be known an assh*le? Is that the way a true Mexican warrior would want to be remembered? I would think not. I am sure JMM will do the right thing, the honorable thing and give Pacquiao a fifth fight. At the very least, he owes Pacquiao that right.

My words to JMM: Remember, Marquez... Pacquiao gave you four shots at redemption... and now it is time to be the same kind of man and give him his shot at Redemption.
