Regardless the outcome on May 2nd, both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are winding down their careers. At this point in Mayweather's career, he no longer finds training for fights fun anymore.
Regarding training for his upcoming fight,
Mayweather states: "No. I don't enjoy it like I once did."
"It's at a point where it's business. It's my job. I go to the gym. I train. I know what I have to do."
Mayweather admits there was a time he found it fun, but it's no longer the case, adding:
"There was a time when it was fun but I am to a point now where I am really over all of that stuff."
So take it for what it's worth, but it sounds like a man who is ready to retire soon... and you really can't blame him.
