This past Saturday on HBO, Sergey Kovalev knocked out his challenger, Nadjib Mohammedi, inside three rounds. The fight, which went down live at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, was televised on HBO. The event did very well in terms of how many people tuned in on TV.
According to Nielsen Media Research (TV Rating), Kovalev vs. Mohammedi averaged 1.014 million viewers.
The TV audience numbers peaked at 1.082 million viewers.
On the undercard, Jean Pascal decision victory vs. Yunieski Gonzalez, averaged an audience of 883,000 TV viewers. Pascal vs. Yunieski peaked at 1.028 million viewers.
