If you are foolish enough to think that fans have lost the faith in Manny Pacquiao because of his recent outings against Juan Manuel Marquez and Tim Bradley... think again! In recent and still ongoing polls being conducted by ESPN's SPORTSNATION, sports fans were asked: How will Saturday's fight in Macau, China, between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios be decided? Check out the American and the International Numbers below.
Out of 22,467 votes calculated from inside America (U.S.A.), the majority favor the 'Pacman'. Fans overwhelmingly chose Pacman who gobbled up 62% of the votes to win by (T)KO. Rios got 13% of the total votes to win by (T)KO. (See the screen shot we have for you of ESPN's U.S. voting results to the left of this text).
Pacquiao scored 21% for a decision victory, while only 4% believed this could be the case for Rios. Only 1% felt the outcome would end in a draw.
How did the rest of the world see it?
Out of 7,756 votes calculated for ESPN's International results, 67% picked Pacquiao to win by KO, while 11% favored Rios. Pacquiao scored 18% for a decision victory to 3% for Rios. 1% picked a draw. (To the left side of this text, see screen shot of ESPN's International results.)
