Say what you want and think what you want to think, but it's pretty clear that the major stumbling block to get Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao is Mayweather himself. Team Pacquiao is and have been very vocal that they are ready to play.
Recently quoted by the Dessert Sun, Promoter Bob Arum (Team Pacman) is less optimistic these days as the deafening silence from Mayweather is extremely loud and clear.
"It's hard for me to be so pessimistic because there's such optimism from our side, on the Pacquiao side," stated Arum, who added: "But as the silence becomes defining from the Mayweather side, I become less and less optimistic. I don't know what it'll take to get Mayweather in the ring with Pacquiao."
So, while Mayweather sits ringside at NBA games, the rest of us sit with our hands in our pockets whistling ho-hum.
