These days, no one is blaming Manny Pacquiao for the big fight not happening. The only person who blames Pacman is "Money" himself, Floyd Mayweather. Now more pressure is being mounted on Mayweather, not just from Fans and Pacquiao's side - but SHOWTIME (the network has a contract with Mayweather) is also pushing Mayweather to do the right thing and face Pacquiao - this is according to Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank.
Arum claims that Showtime network executives are pushing and pressuring Mayweather to lace up the gloves and face Pacquiao.
Quoted in the media, Arum recently stated: "(SHOWTIME) It's pushing, you know, but it takes a lot to push Mayweather because he is not anxious to fight Manny."
It does seem for whatever reasons Mayweather can come up with that he is and has never really been interested in fighting Pacquiao. All we can hope for is that the pressure is insurmountable and Mayweather, even if reluctantly, does the right thing.
