If it wasn't for Kell Brook always bitching about Amir Khan, perhaps no one outside the UK would even know him. A big name in America, Brook is not... Khan on the other hand is. Is there any rush for Khan to face his no-name self-called nemesis? Answer is simple... NO. Not when bigger names at the top of the game have shown interest in Khan.
Khan's plans are more focused on Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Absolutely no one can fault Khan there... not even a misguided Brook (if he was honest with himself).
BBC Radio Five Live, Khan stated: "If Mayweather doesn't happen, Manny Pacquiao is a great name."
Khan is being realistic in what is best for him at this time, and Brook who is looking to absorb popularity off the shoulders of Khan's hard work and name, is simply not a priority.
Khan told the radio program: "
With Kell Brook, that fight will always be there but at the moment I want to catch the right guys (Mayweather and Pacquiao) because how long are they going to be in boxing for? They're at the top of their game."
That is 100% correct... Pacman and Money are the top of the food chain... unfortunately for Brook, he is no where near that league. So for all the bitching, screaming and kicking from Brook... he should blaze his own path and stop trying to mug Khan along the way... Sorry Brook, but Khan has much more important fights to focus on.
