SHOWTIME's quadruple header (4x) at the MGM Grand which headlined Amir Khan vs. Devon Alexander, pulled in excellent TV viewership numbers.

In the main event. Khan's routing of Alexander earned and averaged 762,000 viewers. The fight peaked at 887,000 tuning in.

On the undercard, welterweight Keith Thurman’s victory over Leonard Bundu succeeded in averaging 650,000 viewers.

Also on the card, featherweight Abner Mares who held a 5th round stoppage over Jose Ramirez pulled in an average of 566,000 viewers.

Jr. middleweight Jermall Charlo’s 3rd round KO of his opponent, Lenny Bottai averaged 451,000 in TV viewers.

These are all impressive view numbers, but more so after the fact that HBO also had boxing on TV in the same time slot with Timothy Bradley vs. Diego Chaves. Would the numbers for SHOWTIME's event be even better if this was not the case? You bet. To read up on the viewership numbers for the HBO card - READ ON / Click.
