By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Will Juan Manuel Marquez fight Manny Pacquiao for a 5th time?  That remains to be seen, however, with a little bit of tequila, it seems the one major stain blocking the fight from happening has been removed from the fabric.  In recent times Juan Manuel Marquez had strongly indicated he was ready and considering hanging up the gloves and riding off into the sunset.  Now of course if this were to happen, then all bets are off for a 5th battle with Pacquiao.  Recently quoted by ESPN, Promoter Bob Arum confirmed he had a meeting with Juan Manuel Marquez and the two got drunk of tequila, but not before talking some business in which Marquez told the veteran promoter that he will continue fighting.

Arum, quoted by the media publication, stated: "Marquez said he will continue to fight. That's what he wants to do."  Arum went on to add about the meeting with JMM: "He thought about it after the Pacquiao fight and decided he wants to keep fighting. We had a lovely time together. They had to carry me to my room. A little too much tequila."

Arum indicated there is a strong chance of a Pacquiao-Marquez 5th installment happening in the fall, but noted there are other possibilities for Marquez as well. "We discussed all of his options before we got drunk," stated Arum.

So what are some of these option?  It's a wait and see approach.  Arum stated to the publication: "He (Marquez) wants to see (Timothy) Bradley with (Ruslan) Provodnikov and he wants to see (Brandon) Rios and (Mike) Alvarado, and then we'll have a discussion on what his options are."

Well the good news here for fight fans is that Marquez will continue fighting.  So I have to assume his Mexican-warrior heart will eventually lead him to a 5th bout with Pacquiao.
