New Details Emerge: Adrien Broner "Did Bite" Victim says Cop

Some new information on the scuffle at Club Liv on Miami Beach that landed Adrien Broner in some hot water with the law. Miami Beach Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez has released some information to CBS4 (Local Miami) reporter, Peter D’Oench, and it doesn't sound too favoring for Broner.
Police have charged Broner with battery on the Assistant Director of Security. On Monday just minutes after 3 am outside the hotel is when the reported incident occurred. Some media outlets have painted the senario as a small scuffle, just a misunderstanding, but Sgt. Hernandez has a much more bleaker description, telling CBS4: "Well this was a full out fight on the valet ramp at the Fontainbleau Hotel. Security was summoned. They arrived on the scene."
Sgt. Hernandez went on to add: "The defendant (referring to Broner) was on top of another subject that was involved with the altercation. The victim (Assistant Director of Security) went to him (Broner) to pull him off to stop the fight at which time the defendant bit him in the forearm."
Sgt. Hernandez said that Broner was arrested and booked for battery. The Sgt. also gave some of his views to CBS4 on what he thought of Broner's actions of biting the victim and addressed some concern over the injury from the bite. "Obviously this could get infected," stated Sgt. Hernandez, adding: "He (Broner) bit him. I don’t know what he was thinking. He is a boxer, a professional boxer. But he did bite him in the forearm instead."
When an officer of the law goes on record and says "he did bite him", well like I said in the opening paragraph, things don't sound too favoring for Broner. Hernandez also stated to CBS4 that although he patrols a party town full of young people at this time of the year, in most cases whenever there is a fight and the parties involved hear the police sirens or see the police coming, they scatter away, but in Broner's scuffle: "That was not the case this time. They kept on fighting," stated Sgt. Hernandez.
D’Oench also reports on behalf of CBS4 that a check of Broner's criminal records shows that he has been arrested before, for domestic violence and intimidation. Sgt. Hernandez ended his interview with CBS4 stating the "No one" is above the law.
