Floyd Mayweather Jr returning to Boxing? No So Fast!

Yesterday Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s uncle and trainer, Roger Mayweather pleaded no contest on two counts of misdemeanor battery charges stemming from a well publicized Las Vegas domestic battery case. Roger's plea meant that he would avoid not only the hassles of a time consuming trial, but also the possibility of spending time in jail.

Now that it seems Roger's life can move forward, I've read a few headlines from various sources claiming that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is basically back and we could look forward to seeing him back in the ring very soon.

Not so fast!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has a lot of legal problems himself. I don't expect to see him back in the ring anytime soon. As much as I would like to see Mayweather Jr. back in action, he has some stuff outside of the ring he needs to work out first. I'd hope he'd deal with his legal issues, such as the alleged assaults against his Baby's mama, and against a security guard.

With Roger getting the chance to get his life back on track... I'd say we are 50% on the way to seeing the return of "Money" Mayweather. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see him back soon, but only after he gets his sh!t in order.
