Doghouse Boxing - Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys and the fabulous world class Stadium the team calls home, certainly isn't a stupid man. By now, every boxing fan under the sun has heard how Jones invited Floyd "Money" Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum to sit in his private box and take in Super Bowl XLV.

So was Jones' ploy to get both parties together to try and land for his Stadium the fight of the century, Mayweather vs. Pacquiao?

Quoted by USA Today, Arum was asked if he believed that Jones had the possible showdown bettween the two fighters to take place at Cowboys Stadium on his mind when he invited both parties to his private box.

Quoted by the publication Arum simply stated: "Jerry is always thinking. He is one of the smartest guys I've ever met. Did he tell me or Floyd he was doing it for that purpose? Of course not. But he's always thinking."

Like I said, Jones is not a man who comes off stupid. If you ask me, and I am sure you'll agree... it was a brilliant move on behalf of Jones.
