Oscar De La Hoya speaks out the Felix "Tito" Trinidad Boxing Match

Oscar De La Hoya has no regrets from his excellent Boxing career. He believes it all happened the way it did for a reason. However if there was one fight he could change, De La Hoya recently admits it would be his fight against Felix "Tito" Trinidad.

In a recent Telephone interview with Reuters, Oscar De La Hoya, spoke out on an assortment of topics. One such topic was his fight with Trinidad. De La Hoya does regret that he didn't fight the last three rounds. Many who saw the fight saw De La Hoya winning the fight until he took things easy in the final 3 rounds.

In regards to the one fight he wishes played out differently, De La Hoya stated to Reuters: "But if there was one fight that I could really change it would have to be the last 3 rounds when I boxed Felix Trinidad in 1999."

De La Hoya went on to add that the fight against Trinidad was easy, but he lost in the final 3 rounds. So although De La Hoya has no regrets, if there was one thing he could change: "It would have to be those last three rounds," states De La Hoya.
