Manny Pacquiao is set to arrive Monday in the Phillipines to a Hero's welcome for his latest victory over Juan Manuel Marquez. Freddie Roach the trainer for Pacquiao is happy his fighter is taking a much needed break, but warns his star pupil to watch his weight. It is important that Pacquiao watch his weight because he could return to the ring as early as June 28th if his a planned match with David Diaz comes off.

Quoted by Nick Giongco for the Manila Bulletin, Roach spoke on the warning he gave Pacquaio, just before
Pacquiao boarded a plane to take him to Manila. Roach stated: "Well, I just told him to look after his weight."

There is yet another good reason Pacquiao might want to watch his weight. As I reported in one of my news brief published yesterday, I reported that Beth Celis for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, quotes Pacquiao’s business manager Eric Pineda stating Pacquiao will fight Oscar De La Hoya in November.

Quoted by the publication, Pineda stated in regards to Pacquiao's upcoming fight schedule: “The next is scheduled this June in Macau against WBC lightweight title holder David Diaz and the other one in Dubai this November against Golden Boy Oscar Dela Hoya.”
