Paulie Malignaggi's Boxing Prediction on Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing - Floyd "Money" Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto is quickly approaching. The two fight on May 5th. (On HBO and in Las Vegas... but you already know that drill). Ahead of the clash you can expect a lot of predictions to fly around. In a recent tweet from Paulie Malignaggi, he predicted the winner would be Floyd Mayweather.

Malignaggi in response to one of his twitter followers, posted: "cotto isnt no push over but floyd should win".

Malignaggi should know a thing or two about how tough Cotto is. A few years back he dropped a 12 round unanimous decision to Cotto. It was such a brutal battle that although he lost... Malignaggi gave a performance that pleased even the hardest of boxing fans. Some might argue that in that loss to Cotto, a warrior worthy of the boxing fan's respect was born. It was one of those very rare fights where the loser comes out a winner.
