One thing is for sure, Boxing needs to get it's sh!t together and fast. Boxing is now taking a beating when it comes to people laying money down and betting on the sport. Lack of great fights and pay-per-views isn't helping. Add to it, the only active big name is Manny Pacquiao.

Fans are betting less on Boxing and more on UFC. Recently quoted by the Las Vegas Sun, an assistant sportsbook director based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Rob Akers gave his reasoning as to why the trend has changed from Boxing to UFC in gambling venues.

Akers stated: "I think it's directly related to boxing's downfall over the last few years. (Manny) Pacquiao is a one-man show. He's the only guy who can bring any handle and people want to bet on a combat sport. They are always going to find some way to bet on one and lately it's been the UFC."

Atlas had plenty more to say on the matter. Read the full interview now:: Teddy Atlas Interview on the Foundation, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Martinez & more
