Saul Alvarez speaks out on Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto

These days in Boxing, like his hair, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is red hot! At just 20 years of age, this young Mexican is rapidly creating a stir amongst a lot of fans. Although Alvarez is picking up a strong fan base quickly and his star power is growing in leaps and bounds, he is still grounded. Alvarez wants to fight the big names, but wants to take it easy and not move ahead of himself too quickly.

Speaking recently to ESPN, Alvarez spoke out on the fighters he is aiming for in the future. Of course the young fighter wants the best of the best and dropped the names, Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto.

Alvarez tells ESPN: "I am gunning for the best possible fighters. I would love to fight the best, and we're working on that. I want to fight Mayweather, Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto... all of them... step by step. But I want to take it easy."

Alvarez is certainly a fighter to watch for. He is promoted by Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and if he stays focused... I think he could be the next massive global superstar.
