Boxing Trainer on why Klitschko Bros are Boring & Manny Pacquiao is Not

Boxing Trainer Freddie Roach
When it comes to Boxing Trainers, Freddie Roach truly is a living legend. I love reading quotes from the man because lets face it... he is someone worth listening to. As the trainer for such fighters as Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (just to name a few), Roach really knows his stuff.

Recently Roach was quoted by The Daily Telegraph. Roach spoke out to the UK based publication on why The Klitschko Brothers (Wladimir and Vitali) are boring and Pacquiao is not.

Roach beleives the brothers are great fighters, but the lack of taking risks inside the ring makes the brothers boring. "The Klitschko brothers are great boxers but they are boring," stated Roach, adding: "They don't take risks. You've got to go for it in this sport, and give 100%.

Roach then went on to explain what makes Pacquiao popular, citing his willingness to exchange with other fighters and even getting hurt. "Manny Pacquiao is popular because he comes to exchange with you, he wants to fight," explained Roach, adding: "Once in a while he gets hit, but that is part of the game.

Roach added that David Haye (who takes on Wladimir Klitschko on July 2nd) is "the spark the heavyweight division needs right now."
