By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. - Is Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. ready to hang up his boxing gloves (retire) after his September 17th showdown against Victor Ortiz? The short answer... No. In fact, "Money" Mayweather hopes to give his fans at least another ten fights before he calls it quits.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday (Today) in New York, "Money" Mayweather confirmed he will be in the game for many more fights, but stressed he is closer to the age of 40 than 21.

In regards to possibly hanging up the gloves after Ortiz, "Money" Mayweather stated: "This is not my last fight, I want to stay active."

Mayweather went on to add: "Hopefully I can give you guys 10 more fights. I may not be able to. I'm closer to 40 than 21."
