David Haye gives his reason for why he lost to Wladimir Klitschko

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. - David Haye has revealed the reason he lost to Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night in Hamburg Germany. The reason? Haye says he broke his right toe 3 weeks ago.

Shortly after the fight in which Haye lost on all scorecards, Gregg Roughley for the Guardian UK reported from the event that Haye had just revealed that the reason he lost was because he had broken his right toe three weeks ago and he couldn't "explode" off his right leg and land his right hand. To confirm that he was suffering from a broken toe, Haye showed off his swollen right toe to prove that was not lying. (Haye did not pull out of the fight because he didn't want to upset 50,000 fans).

Quoted by the Guardian in regards to his broken toe, Haye stated: "I'm in absolute agony." Haye added: "All credit to Wladimir, he's a great fighter."
