By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez III will be carried on HBO. According to a report out by ESPN, Pacquiao's Nov. 12 battle against Marquez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, will also be heavily promoted on TV.

HBO who won the rights over rival SHOWTIME will be upping their game when it comes to promoting the fight.

So what to expect in the coming months? According to ESPN:

• CNN will show replays of "24/7" episodes.
• Promoter Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao will appear for a joint interview on Piers Morgan's primetime CNN show as well as be interviewed on CNN international programming.
• The fight will be promoted during TBS' coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs.
• If the NBA lockout is lifted, the fight would also be promoted during TNT's basketball coverage.
• There will be daily coverage of fight-week activities on HBO, including the final news conference and weigh-in.

Sounds like some pretty exciting stuff. I look forward to seeing the sport promoted this way. I think it is about time the cable giants really start covering the sport the way it should be. Boxing should be plastered everywhere!
