When Oscar De La Hoya takes on Manny Pacquiao this coming December 6th, Ricky Hatton will be hoping for Pacquiao to win. Hatton wants the winner of the mega clash, and although he feels De La Hoya will win, he hopes the outcome is in favor of Pacquiao.

Quoted on SportingLife, Hatton explained why he wants Pacquiao to win. Hatton stated: "No disrespect to Oscar, a friend, but for my own career I'd prefer Pacquiao to win. Then I could fight him at
light-welter for all the marbles."

In order for Hatton to get a fight with either De La Hoya or Pacquiao, he must first get past his next IBF light-welterweight title challenge against Paulie Malignaggi. Hatton vs. Malignaggi will take place on November 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
