By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing - By now you all know the story. Oscar De La Hoya was inspired by former inmate Dewey Bozella age 52, (wrongfully incarcerated for 26 years) winning his pro debut on the Chad Dawson vs. Bernard Hopkins undercard.

After witnessing Bozella's four round unanimous decision win, De La Hoya hit his twitter board and posted the following message: "Bozella wins and has inspired me to make a comeback!!!"

Well of course that has lead to tons of speculations, rumors, questions and critics' responses. Using his twitter account, De La Hoya has cleared up his statement. He won't be making a comeback.

De La Hoya tweeted: "Bozella's win inspired the world to never give up. No come back for me."

De La Hoya also took the time to lash out at ESPN scribe Dan Rafael, who recently in a column wrote this: "The last thing boxing needs is for a washed-up, once-great champion to come back and get hurt. And that obviously would not be good for De La Hoya either." In regards to Rafael's writting that column, De La Hoya tweeted: "unprofessional column."
