Funny Story on how Klitschko Bros found Don King Dishonest

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing - Although I have yet to watch KLITSCHKO the new documentary movie on the brothers, Vitali and Wladimir, the rave reviews I have been reading has put this on my must see list. Even though I really like both Brothers (they are fun to watch and are both incredibly talented in the ring) I really wasn't interested in watching a documentary on Wladimir and Vitali. But like I said, the reviews have changed my mind.

Here is just one thing I came across about the video. It's about a meeting the Brothers had with Legendary Boxing Promoter Don King. Basically the run down is this. The Brothers had a meeting with King at King's home to discuss a possible signing deal with Don King Promotions...

Here is why the Brothers did not sign with King. At one point, during their meeting with King, the promoter entertains the Brothers by sitting down at a piano and playing a piece from Mozart's Don Giovanni. Impressive right? Well, here is the LOL on the skinny.... turns out the the Brothers are curious as to how King nailed the difficult musical piece so well, that upon further inspection they looked closer and found that the Piano was a Player Piano (A piano that plays automatically with the keys moving independently.) Because of their findings, the Brothers came to the conclusion that they felt King was dishonest and therefore did not sign with the Promoter.

Honestly, I had a deep laugh with that one. I think Don King is an excellent promoter (even when promoting himself as a concert pianist), and the Klitschko's tale only made me laugh deep.... even though I can understand why the brothers would come to their conclusion. Still, it's a damn funny story.

imdb.com (Internet Movie Database) has a high viewer rating of 79% for KLITSCHKO.
