Floyd Mayweather Jr disses Oscar De La Hoya

The Pound for Pound King, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is making $20 million dollars for 5 weeks worth of work in the WWE. Mayweather Jr. says he has been a fan of wrestling since he was a kid. Recently quoted by Steve Carp for the Las Vegas Review Journal, Mayweather Jr. doesn't know if the WWE will be worth the risk, but dissed Oscar De La Hoya, saying the rematch will be like taking candy from a Baby.

Quoted by the publication, Mayweather Jr. stated: "I've been a big fan of wrestling since I was a kid," adding: "It's always been entertaining."

Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather's friend and manager, said: "We received a tremendous offer and, as his manager, I'm always trying to expand his fan base.

Ellerbe went on to add: "There's 47 million people who watch wrestling every week. This will be great exposure for Floyd."

In regards to the move being worth it or not, Mayweather Jr. stated: "Is the risk worth it?" adding: "We'll find out. But fighting Oscar? That's easy work. It's like taking candy from a baby."
