Wladimir Klitschko, the World heavyweight champ tells the BBC that he would welcome a fight against David Haye. Earlier this month, Haye became the undisputed cruiserweight champ by defeating Enzo Maccarinelli. After winning the fight, Haye stated he wants to move up to the heavyweight division and challenged Klitschko.

The BBC Radio 5 Live asked Klitschko if he'd fight Haye. Klitschko told the program: "He's an exciting fighter so why not?"

Klitschko says he hadn't heard of Haye until recently, but after checking out Haye's record, he feels Haye is a good fighter with a worthy record. Klitschko tells the BBC: "I hadn't heard about David Haye at all until last month. But I've checked his record and he is a good fighter with a good record.

Klitschko added: "If he wants to bring excitement then I wish him best of luck. He better get himself in the gym and get ready to fight. He is young and is trying to put attention on himself and that may work for him because he has to be very loud, but not only with his words but with his actions. I wish him the best of luck with that."
