Impressive Pay Per View Numbers released for Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez II

Manny Pacquiao's rematch fight on March 15th against Juan Manuel Marquez ranked in some solid Pay-per-view numbers for HBO-PPV.

According to information released by HBO, the fight generated 400,000 PPV buys and made a whopping $20.2 million in revenue.

Mark Taffet the HBO senior vice president of sports operations said the fight not only performed extremely well in historically-strong Filipino and Latino markets, but also did very well in general markets.

Next up for HBO includes Miguel Cotto vs. Alfonso Gomez and Kermit Cintron vs. Antonio Margarito (a doubleheader set for April 12). Then on April 19th Bernard Hopkins takes on Joe Calzaghe, followed by Oscar De La Hoya vs. Steve Forbes on May 3rd.
