According to a recent report by Nick Giongco of the Manila Bulletin, Juan Manuel Marquez remains bitter that Manny Pacquiao seems disinterested in another rematch.

Marquez speaking yesterday morning on the Dennis Principe’s program on DZSR, stated, "If this fight will not happen, that is because Pacquiao doesn’t want to fight to happen and not because I don’t want the fight to take place."

Jaime Quintana, who advises Marquez, chimed in: "Now is the best time to put up the third fight while people are talking about it."

Quintana added: "While it is hot, we must put the fight together because the people might lose interest in it (if we delay it)."

In regards to Pacquiao's next opponent, David Diaz, Quintana stated it was not an interesting fight and only a rematch with Marquez would be best for Pacquiao. "Pacquiao against Diaz is not an interesting fight. Only Marquez can give Pacquiao the best offer he can get," said Quintana.
