According to a report out by Ronnie Nathanielsz and published on BoxingScene.com and The Manila Standard Today, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum who represents Manny Pacquiao, says he is now preparing the contracts for Pacquiao vs David Diaz at the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino on June 28.

In an overseas telephone conversation with BoxingScene, Arum quoted by Nathanielsz said that after the Diaz fight “gets by, then we will go to Macau” for Pacquiao’s next fight."

Before Arum commits to any future fight plans for Pacquiao, he stated everything depends on Pacquiao performance at the higher weight. “This is because if he wins, he will have 15 days to decide on which title to hold," said Arum.

At the same time, Arum said Juan Manuel Marquez was out of the picture for now. Arum stated to Nathanielsz that there are other guys for Marquez to fight, but did not rule out a match up in the future. Arum stated: “When the time is right, we’ll do a rematch.” Arum added: “It’s an interesting fight. They had two good fights and Manny beats him again so what?”
