Floyd Mayweather Jr a Huge Liar? WWE Numbers don't add Up to Outrageous Prince tag
The Hard Punch by Johnny Benz (May 7, 2008) Doghouse Boxing
Did Floyd Mayweather Jr outright lie to fans by saying he was making $20 million for his stint in the WWE? It would seem that Mayweather Jr. wants us all to believe he is so popular that $20 million is a fair price for being part of this year's WrestleMania. Well now the numbers for the Pay-Per-View event have been released, and the profits from the event don't match up with the price tag Mayweather Jr. says he got.

WrestleMania 24 with Mayweather Jr. drew 1,058,000 buys for $23.8 million. The after-tax profit is $19.5
million. This year's WrestleMania numbers is less than the 1.2 million buys and $24.6 million for last year's WrestleMania which included Donald Trump vs Vince McMahon.

In a recent conference call with investors, the WWE denied paying an outrageous sum of 20 Million to showcase Mayweather Jr. According to some reports, insiders are indicating the real number is close to $5 million and not the $20 million Mayweather Jr. has reported.

My Opinions:
Can anyone trust Mayweather Jr's mouth anymore? I certainly can not. No reason to lie outright in such a ridiculous fashion. And why bother lieing when you know the blatant truth is right around the corner?
