According to media reports originating from the UK, Boxing champ Amir Khan got another driving Ban imposed on him. This is Khan's second driving ban in three months. The ban came down yesterday and Khan was also fined £1,000. The court heard Khan ripped along a motorway at an astounding 140mph.

Reports indicate that Khan, 21, was clocked by the police in his BMW 6-series at about twice the limit driving down the M62.

Police officer Paul Saunders told the court in Lancs in regards to Khan: “I was in a Vauxhall Vectra. The speed was off the clock at 155mph, its maximum speed.”

Khan is already serving a driving ban for careless driving that involved him running a red light and causing a pedestrian’s leg to be broken.

Khan’s latest ban is a 42-day ban that will run concurrently with the six-month ban he received in October of last year.

The District Judge, Pamela Baldwin felt there was not enough evidence to support that Khan was driving at more than 100mph, however the Judge was more than satisfied that Khan was going faster than 70mph.
