In a recent Interview conducted by Clinton van den Berg for the the Sunday Times, the former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson answered questions about his upcoming visit to South Africa at the end of this month, plus also discussed his life. Tyson admits he isn't thinking much about Boxing these days and is spending his time on his children. Tyson tells the publication that he has cleaned up his act.

“I guess I’m more mellow,” Tyson told the publication. In regards to his life and his children, Tyson said the stuff
from the past was all B.S. and he is trying to be the best man he can be, stating: “All that stuff before, that’s all BS. I’m on the straight and narrow and I’m having fun. All my kids are very sporty and I love that. I’m no pushy father, but it’s great to see. I just wanna do the right thing, be the best man that I can possibly be.”

“I don’t know man, all I’m doing is raising my kids, trying to do the right thing.”

In regards to published rumors of a possible third fight against his old nemeses Evander Holyfield, Tyson denied he was “fit and strong”, adding that he hadn’t been training. “I don’t follow fighting, I don’t know who’s fighting or what,” said Tyson.

When Tyson visits South Africa he is hoping to meet Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, a person he admits he has a great deal of respect and admiration for. He is also looking forward to interacting with the Children of South Africa.
