Margarito vs Cintron Rematch is on: Plus Mosley vs Mayorga in the Works? - Boxing

A report out today by Maxboxing.com is confirming that a rematch between IBF welterweight titlist Kermit Cintron and the former WBO belt-holder Antonio Margarito has been made.

MaxBoxing.com further reports the rematch is set to take place in Atlantic City on April 12th.

The rematch will be televised by HBO's Championship Boxing and will be part of the undercard to Miguel Cotto vs

Alfonso Gomez.

In other boxing news, MaxBoxing quotes Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotion's CEO Richard Schaefer in regards to the return of "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

Schaefer tells MaxBoxing: "There has been one guy calling him out like crazy and that was Ricardo Mayorga, so that is a possibility and so we're looking at that."

Schaefer added: "Other possibilities could be a Kermit Cintron. So I'm having discussions with HBO to see when we can schedule the return of Shane Mosley."
