According to a report out by the The Fight Network, Floyd Mayweather Sr. will indeed be reunited with Oscar De la Hoya as his trainer for his upcoming rematch fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Quoted by The Fight Network, Mayweather Sr. stated: "I didn't work their first fight, but I'm going to work it this time."

Mayweather Sr. also indicated that the training relationship with De La Hoya will be long term.... at least until the end of De La Hoya's career.

Mayweather Sr. quoted by the Network, stated: "Oscar said that he wants me to be his trainer until the end of his career, so that obviously includes whatever he has planned for September."

Mayweather Sr. went on to diss Freddie Roach. Roach was De La Hoya's trainer for the first fight with Mayweather Jr. De La Hoya had opted to let Mayweather Sr. go just before his first fight with Mayweather Jr. due to a high asking price for a trainers fee of 2 Million. Mayweather Sr. feels there was a steep decline and dissed Roach, calling him a Joke.

"There was a steep decline with Freddy "The Joke Coach" Roach in Oscar's corner," said Mayweather Sr.
