The 4400 cancelled by Morons; Being Saved by Fans

The Internet is a buzz these days with the "Save The 4400 Campaign." Get this, fans are pissed that some nonfunctional brains down at USA Network canceled the hit TV series, The 4400. The show was so popular that when the fourth season was about to begin last year, Yahoo.com featured it on its homepage. It was featured on it's homepage because the demands for the show had hit global proportions.
Now sometime around Christmas, fans of the show were rewarded by USA Network with a big old cancellation of the
show. Get this, USA Network's main reason for axing the show was to give room for some of its new programs... and you can bet these are programs that aren't doing so well. So the brains down at USA Network decided to get ride of a proven ratings grabber in "The 4400" .
The 4400 is basically a way better version of the popular NBC show "Heroes". The only difference is The 4400 has a better story line, much better actors, and a fan base that strands the globe. The show is popular in so many countries, that if I tried too, I could not list them all. Unfortunately the 4400 was featured on USA Network and not NBC.
To prove just how popular the show is, fans around the globe are united in trying to save the show. A company called Giant Seeds has joined forces with fans of the show to send bags of sunflower seeds to the USA Network in protest of the show's cancellation. So far nearly 6000 bags of seeds has been mailed to USA Network through Giant Seeds. The bags have been purchased not only from fans in USA, but also around the globe from about 12 or so different nations.
Will it help bring back the show? Well considering it was a stupid move on the part of USA Network to cancel the show in the first place... it is hard to imagine that these clowns will change their minds. However, if they have any business sense left and any respect for their viewers, they will strongly reconsider their stupid mistake.
In a statement about the 4400 campaign, network officials said, "We love hearing from our viewers and appreciate their enthusiasm for 'The 4400,' a series we're extremely proud of, but it would be very difficult logistically to bring the show back."
Sounds like the Network is already saying "No!" You'd think the USA Network would be more interested in entertaining their viewers.... rather then piss them off. If the seed campaign doesn't work, then perhaps fans will boycott USA Network. After all, who wants to watch a Network that will axe a great show with out any warning? Not me.
