These days Ricky Hatton is busy in training for his upcoming fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. set for December 8. Hatton is so confident he will come out victorious that he is worried Mayweather Jr. will come out with an excuse after being defeated.

Hatton quoted in the media said: "It's common knowledge that Floyd has bad hands and I just hope that on the night when I beat Floyd and it all seems fair he doesn't try to blame it on the dancing or bad hands."

After an airing the pre-fight 24-7 preview show, rumours began circulating that Mayweather Jr. is concealing an injury. The preview show aired footage of Mayweather receiving treatment.

In regards to what Hatton knows of Mayweather's training, Hatton stated: "I'm liking what I'm seeing from his training camp watching his padwork, because although he's got fantastic handspeed he's hitting the bags and the speedball with little power."

Hatton doesn't seemed concerned over the rumor of injury to Mayweather Jr., saying: "There's lots of positives. It does seem like the trouble has arisen with his hands again but it begs the question of why he would be showing an injury instead of trying to conceal one."
