With Floyd Mayweather Jr. taking on Ricky Hatton this Saturday on HBO Pay-Per-View, many have made their predictions. A prediction that may or may not surprise you is Bernard Hopkins' choice as to who he feels the winner will be. Hopkins is not picking the American fighter, Mayweather Jr. but instead has his focus on the British fighter, Hatton to pull away with the victory.

Hopkins recently quoted in the media, stated: "Ricky Hatton is like the Energiser Bunny. I am looking for some
blood from Ricky early on, but at the end of the day he out-hustles Mayweather for a unanimous decision."

Hopkins added: "Ricky Hatton is not just a slugger. There's a difference between a guy who is going to put pressure on you and is willing to take four or five punches to give one or two.

"Ricky Hatton is willing to be that slugger but he is also willing to throw punches in bunches and that is rare in boxing today. Henry Armstrong fought that way. That is dangerous guy because you can't keep him off you."

Hopkins questioned Mayweather's hunger and feels it is a fight Mayweather could lose. "It is a fight for Ricky to win and Floyd to lose," Hopkins added: "Everybody knows Floyd can fight, but how do you still fight like a hungry man when your refrigerator's full?"

You can catch Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Ricky Hatton on HBO Pay-Per-View this
Saturday.
