Ricky Hatton can't wait to get into the ring on December 8th when he takes on the recognized Pound for Pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Hatton is supremely confident that he will defeat Mayweather Jr. and shock most critics who have ruled him out.

Quoted recently by Sporting Life UK, Hatton feels there will be some apologies heading his way after he defeats Mayweather Jr. Hatton stated: "I know all these people that are picking Floyd, there's going to be a few apologies coming my way, and I'm sure every opponent has said the same at Floyd's face, but I just can't wait to go out there. I just
can't wait.

Hatton feels the fight is already over and that Mayweather Jr. is going to get the shock of his life when the two face off.

Hatton quoted by the publication, said: "In my eyes this fight is already even over. I think Floyd is going to get the shock of his life.

"I think he has taken me lightly. I think he just thinks the obvious - I'm a strong kid, high workrate, loads of punches, body punches, I've fought 500 of them. Well I think he's going to get a shock."

Hatton added that he will surprise Mayweather Jr with his boxing abilities.

"I've shown in fights that I've got the boxing ability to do it. My power, my angles, my feinting, my moving in quick on opponents, my speed of footwork along with the boxing ability - I just think I know what to do
against Floyd Mayweather."
