Miguel Cotto speaks on Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Austin Trout

By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. As you should know by now, Miguel Cotto's next fight is against Austin Trout on December 1st. Before agreeing to face, Cotto tried
to secure a rematch with either Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. or Manny
Pacquiao. Only after deals with Mayweather and Pacquiao failed to
materialize did Cotto decide to face Trout. For Cotto, Austin was the best option left for him.
Speaking recently to
ESPN, in regards to why he went with Trout as his next fight, Cotto told
the publication: "When rematches with Floyd or Manny went out of the
picture, the best option was Austin Trout, so we picked Austin Trout to
fight."
Miguel
Cotto vs.AustinTrout is set to go down at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
