Manny Pacquiao Parody © icheehuahua, Doghouse Boxing
By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Manny Pacquiao has proven himself time and time again in the boxing ring.  He has preformed often at nothing short of Pound-for-pound the best.  You have to wonder if his battle days won't be over soon?  You wouldn't blame him, you'd understand.  However, if you are like me... I still want a few more years out of the Pac-Master.  What can I say? I really enjoy watching him box, and of course there is that dream fight we want to see him in. You know the fight... no need for me to even mention it by name. Well the good news is, Manny Pacquiao has signed on with Top Rank until the end of 2014.

Quoted on Espn during last night's weigh-in event featuring Nonito Donaire vs. Toshiaki Nishioka, Promoter Bob Arum stated: "Manny's contract with Top Rank runs out on Dec. 31, 2013, and we've extended the contract for yet another year, to Dec. 31, 2014."

Now that's the few extra years I was talking about, so you know I am happy with it.  I would imagine this is great news for all boxing fans.  I think He can accomplish everything that he needs within that time frame and retire a very happy man.

I am not a gambling man, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pacquaio retired at the end of 2014.  So basically, let's enjoy Pacquiao the boxer while we all can.
