As Roy Jones Jr prepares to face off against Joe Calzaghe on November 8th at Madison Square Garden, New York City, NY, there has been a lot of talk of Jones Jr. granting Bernard Hopkins a rematch. Jones Jr., who has indicated time and time again that he might fight Hopkins again, is recently quoted by SportingLife, discussing the matter. Jones Jr. feel he has no reason to fight Hopkins a second time.

Quoted by SportingLife in regards to another fight with Hopkins, Jones Jr. stated: "He is constantly
talking about fighting me but that won't make the fight happen. I've already beaten him once. Why would I want to fight him again?"

Jones Jr. went on to add that that years have past and no fight has been made, so Jones Jr. is content on moving on. "He has been saying he wants to fight me for the last five years but nothing has been done about it. I do what I do. I work my own career and will do what I want to do," said Jones Jr.
