Boxing News: James Toney vs Tony Thompson is On! Plus Andre Ward Returns

According to a report out today by ESPN, James Toney is set to return. Toney's return will see him taking on Tony Thompson this coming December 13th.

According to the sports publication, Toney and Thompson are scheduled to compete in a 12-rd Heavyweight bout. The fight is set to take place at the Morongo Resort in Cabazon, Calif.

Promoter Dan Goossen, who promotes Toney and Thompson confirmed the fight will air on Versus. The card will also have Andre Ward on it.
