In a very interesting article by Dan Rafael of ESPN, Bernard Hopkins gave his views and a prediction on the outcome of this Saturday's Joe Calzaghe vs Roy Jones Jr. Hopkins has a unique perspective to offer, all considering he has shared the ring with both men.

Hopkins who has recorded a loss to both Calzaghe and Jones Jr., feels Jones Jr. will not only be able to handle Calzaghe's punch rate, but will also be able to neutralize it. Speaking recently to ESPN, Hopkins
stated: "Roy can handle the volume of punches. He has the ability to neutralize it. Roy's not going to stop it, but he will neutralize it to the point where Joe will fight using a different tactic and see what else he can do."

Hopkins gives himself credit for exposing Calzaghe's punch rate and believes in the end Jones Jr. will not only defeat Calzaghe, but his victory will come by way of a landslide. "I think I exposed to the world that Joe throws a lot of punches - you can't take that away from him - but are the punches he throws effective? Does he connect enough to get points? He throws a lot of punches, but not effective punches. That's where Roy beats him by a landslide," said Hopkins to the Publication.

Tune in on Saturday to HBO Pay-Per-View and miss none of the action as Calzaghe takes on Jones Jr. It's a fight you won't want to miss.
