Let me tell you off the bat, Ricky Hatton does not have Testicular Cancer, but he is fighting it. Hatton who is deep in training for his upcoming fight on against Paulie Malignaggi, is lending his name for the fight on Cancer.

To me, its great news to hear when Boxers are doing their best to do things to help others. Hatton who is known for giving his time for good causes, recently was asked to do a photo spread for Cosmopolitan. Hatton was asked to do the photos to help raise awareness for a leading Men's health concern, testicular cancer.

In a dairy written by Hatton and published by Sky Sports, Hatton discussed being asked to raise awareness for Cancer.

Hatton writes in his diary blog: "I got a few texts and calls today about a photo-shoot I did recently for Cosmopolitan magazine. I was asked to do the shoot to raise awareness for testicular cancer. I cant think of a better way to raise awareness!"

Like I said, to me it's great to hear Boxers such as Hatton fighting good causes in order to try and help others. It truly sets Hatton apart from others. Boxers such as Bernard Hopkins, Roy Jones Jr. Oscar De La Hoya and Peter Manfredo Jr. have also in recent times done their parts in helping make awarness to the problems of Cancer.

Hatton vs Malignaggi will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 22nd and will be shown on only HBO. It's a fight you won't want to miss.
