Manny Pacquiao should be a little concerend with reports coming out from Oscar De La Hoya himself that he is in great shape with three weeks left before the two are set to fight.

There has been a lot of speculation that De La Hoya would have problems coming down in weight. Quoted by in the press media, De La Hoya admits there was some rocky moments with losing the weight, but has since gotten past the issues and is now feeling better than ever.

De La Hoya admits he feels shocked at how the weight coming off has made him feel stronger. However, De La Hoya also admits it came at a price, stating at that at one point during his weight loss he was having problems. De La Hoya stated: "I was shocked because I feel so strong. About a month ago, I was trying to make 150, 149, and I was feeling weak, was feeling lightheaded." De La Hoya went on to add, that his biggest concern rergarded his power as well as his speed, but is pleasantly surprised that this is not the case. "My biggest concern was my power and my speed. Coming down to welterweight has actually enhanced my speed and my punching power," said De La Hoya.

Now that the hard part is over for De La Hoya, his next steps will include keeping the weight off until after fight night.

De La Hoya vs Pacquiao is set for December 6th and can be seen only on HBO Pay-Per-View.
