Ricky Hatton on Floyd Mayweather Jr, Paulie Malignaggi, Jose Luis Castillo and more

Ricky Hatton vs Paulie Malignaggi is set for November 22nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Hatton who enjoys a strong fan base, large part due to an impressive career, doesn't get upset when Malignaggi opens his mouth. Hatton has made a career of fighting some great names, and questions if Malignaggi can say the same.

In a recent interview with shortlist.com, Hatton was asked if some of the things Malignaggi has said has bothered Hatton.

Amongst some of the critisim, Malignaggi says Hatton likes to hold and hit, and doesn't know how to fight.

In regards to the question if what Malignaggi says has bothered him, Hatton dropped names like Floyd Mayweather Jr and Jose Luis Castillo in his reply. Stating that Malignaggi's words do no affect him, Hatton stated: "I’ve beaten some of the best pound to pound fighters in the world like Castillo. I fought the number one pound for pound fighter in the world, Floyd Mayweather and moved out my weight to try to do so. I’ve won five euro titles, two in different weights, I’ve beat world champion Costa Urango. I think the best win on his record is Lovemore N’Dou so if he’s going to say that, what good does it make Paulie look? Still I don’t get upset because what else is he going to say?"
