Scott Harrison's Next fight a Jail Battle for Release

One of boxing's most troubled fighters, Scott Harrison has won a very small victory while serving a jail sentence imposed on him for stuff related to alcohol abuse and assault.

Harrison has won leave to appeal a jail term for assault and driving while under the influence of Alcohol.

Harrison who's boxing career has been left in shambles, was sentenced this past September to 6 months in

prison for driving around drunk. Harrison was also given a 2 month sentence for other incidents which included attacking his girlfriend and assualting a police office.

The Judicial system in Edinburgh is allowing Harrison to challenge both sentences, as well as the decision to impose them consecutively.
