The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a fight between Shane Mosley and Antonio Margarito is on. It was reported last week that Margarito was not interested in fighting Mosley, however with a report out by Lance Pugmire of the LA Times, it seems the fight is indeed now on.
Pugmire reports that Top Rank officials have informed him that Antonio Margarito vs Shane Mosley is on and scheduled for January 24th. Pugmire further reports the fight will be carried by HBO, will not be a
Pay-Per-View and will held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
A representative for Bob Arum confirmed that HBO provided more money in persuading Margarito to take the fight. Stay tuned to Doghouse Boxing as we will stay on this story and provide updates.
