Bernard Hopkins gives his prediction on Oscar De La Hoya vs Manny Pacquiao

This coming Saturday as Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao finally mee. Many experts have made their opinions on the outcome public. Recently Salven L. Lagumbay of PhilBoxing.com caught up with Bernard Hopkins and got his thoughts on the big fight.

Hopkins, who is partner in Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, is picking his business partner to defeat Pacquiao.

Hopkins tells PhilBoxing: "Manny Pacquiao is such a tremendous athlete. But he is facing the fox. The fox knows how to eat his lunch even if it is not yet served. The fox knows how to outsmart everybody, and Oscar is that fox," added Hopkins.

Hopkins went on to give a prediction on the outcome. Hopkins feels De La Hoya will stop Pacquiao, stating: "Pacman is 100 percent offense. He has questionable defense. That's how I look at it. Oscar will stop him in the 8th or 9th round!"
