Kostya Tszyu Update - Boxing

Kostya Tszyu the extremely popular and retired boxer is still keeping himself busy these days. Tszyu uses his time to try and help make the world a better place, and this Christmas, Tszyu won't be taking any breaks from charity work.

Tyzyu in cooperation with Sotheby's Auction House is putting up for auction some of his apparel from his professional boxing days. The proceeds will not go to Tszyu, but will instead go to children in need.

Amongst some of the personal items that Tszyu will donate to auction off include his lucky shorts and gloves that he used in 1999 when he fought against Miguel Angel Gonzalez.

According to a report in Russia Today, the starting price for his shorts is going at $25k US, while his gloves will start at the asking bid of $50K US.

Even in retirement, fans of boxing still have great reasons to cheer for and be proud of Tszyu.
